We collect as little as we can get away with. Here is the whole of it.

Who we are

This Matcha Life (抹茶の間), reachable at takenakacontact@ibeck.co.jp. Our registered business details are available on request and will be published here when we begin selling directly.

What we collect

• Analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying data about which pages are read and where readers came from. We do not build profiles of individuals.
• Email address — only if you subscribe to our letter, and only to send you that letter. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe.
• Nothing else. We do not sell data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies of its own. Retailers we link to, including Amazon, set their own cookies when you follow a link to them — that is how they know a purchase came from here. Their cookies are governed by their policies, not ours.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so. If you are in the EU or UK, this is your right under the GDPR. If you are in California, this is your right under the CCPA, and we confirm that we do not sell personal information. One email is enough: takenakacontact@ibeck.co.jp.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes we will change the date below and, if the change is significant, say so in the letter.
